RUSTIC WILDFLOWERS adjustable tiny flower beaded bracelet

All the inspiration for this first beaded bouquet collection, which I hope to create annually, has been sent in from the Colors of the Prairie Insiders (aka email newsletter subscribers). Thank you all for taking the time to send me a special bouquet from your life; this has become such a special and creative project for me.

Initially, I wrote this statement about this collection, but this one bracelet has blown up a bit for me, so I’m going to keep it stocked for a while. My geocaching gal pal got married on Earth Day last year! She really highlighted the colors found in the landscape. ⁣

Spotting Bison and herds of Deer, basking in all the solemn beauty of early spring in Theodore Roosevelt National Park with just an intimate group of friends was something I’ll never forget. We eloped as the skies turned to a paler shade of blue and bright bluffs in the distance became a moody haze blending into the setting sun, 6.5 years of choosing each other became a life-long promise to be there for one another, to nourish the life we have built together, and watch it grow. It was a day of celebrating us, celebrating the place we had come to know as our favorite place in North Dakota (Theodore Roosevelt National Park North Unit), and Mother Earth. April 22, Earth Day, and all her colors now have a new and most beautiful meaning to us both.”

Please keep in mind that even though I try my best to keep the spacing even between flowers, I’m not a machine and the spaces are not all perfectly equal. I think this adds to unique-ness and similarity to wild flowers in nature! They don’t grow in straight lines! Each bracelet adjusts between 5.5 – 10.5 inches (a standard size for this style). If you’d like the string ends to be shorter, they can be re-knotted and burned at the ends. If you have questions – please reach out. Once altered, I won’t be able to accept them as returns. With a sliding knot closure, this bracelet is adjustable; it may be tight at first, but will wear over time and become easier to slide.⁣

❂ 𝗔 𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗘 𝗢𝗡 𝗔𝗗𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 ❂⁣
To adjust your bracelet, please pull on the braided part while pinching the knot – instead of pulling the beaded piece. The braided part is much more durable (3x the string vs 1 piece of string) to withstand getting pulled. This limits the possibility of the bracelet stretching. ⁣

❂ 𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗔𝗟𝗦 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗘 ❂⁣
String bracelets can last for years with proper care – and I have been trying my best to find the best, most durable techniques and materials to make these bracelets last. The cord used for my bracelets is waxed polyester string. Yet, this cord is only .5mm thick (to fit the 11/0 seed beads), making it still, unfortunately, possible to break (I’ve had my husband pull in various directions on a new bracelet as hard as he can, and all he can do is stretch it out – so it should take a while for the bracelet to get to “breakable” level). I suggest you avoid water if you want to keep this bracelet, beads, and charm(s) in pristine condition. Treat your bracelet gently, removing it before sleeping or any physical activity.
